Improving occupational therapists’ confidence in completing the Allied Health Professions Health and Work Report: Results from the CREATE feasibility study

Introduction There is a concern that occupational therapists lack confidence in advising on fitness to work. The aim of this study was compare two training methods improving therapists’ completing the Allied Health Professions and Work Report (AHP H&WR). Method A mixed-methods conducted. Occupational were recruited face-to-face ( n = 14) or online 18) training. Data collected via questionnaires at baseline, one week eight weeks post-training, using semi-structured telephone interviews. Questionnaire data analysed descriptively; interviews thematically. Results It possible recruit retain participants study. from both groups reported improved their AHP H&WR. However, majority did not have opportunity complete an H&WR practice during follow-up period. Conclusion Similar results for shows promise further development testing. therefore potential conduct definitive area.
